Well, that wasn't clever...
I just re-read a whole bunch of the old posts on here, and it's been a powerful demonstration of the mind's ability to blot out trauma. What sane person would keep subjecting themselves to this?

None. Which only goes to show that you are NOT sane. You are, however, alive. Which is nice.
I'd like to note that the word verification for today is "fkhew", which, when pronounced, sounds like "fuck you". How appropriate.
Reassurance that I'm alive is good - sometimes it's too easy to believe that I've died and been sentenced to some obscure circle of hell for something.
And I'm pleased to see that the word verification is entering into the spirit of things. Now if only I knew what a "yaoggn" was...
Well we might have assumed you dead or merely perhaps not quite suffering so much. It's the happy bits of life that make such bad reading.
Glad the breathing in & out bit is still working out for you though.
My own verification code sounds very like the noise someone makes clearing a bit of green stuff from their throat.
we too were wondering about the abuse vs reality problem, but since you were the one sticking it out...
And changing jobs did not really help.
